工程質量的概念和重要性
建筑工程是一種對安全性、耐久性有極高要求的特殊產品，它不同于一般的批量生產的工業產品。所以工程的質量首先就是要保證結構的安全性和耐久性；其次是各項使用功能的可靠性；再次是裝飾的實用性和美觀，這里面就包括了各分部、分項工程的觀感。也正是由于建筑工程所具有的這一特性，所以我們可以看到國家對工程建設領域的設計、施工、材料、設備等等都相應制定了一系列的標準、規范。恐怕工程建設領域中的國家標準是最多的。國家就是通過這一系列的標準、規范來控制建設工程的質量，這也充分體現了國家、政府對人民生命和財產安全的重視。
建筑工程最基本的質量標準就是國家頒布的建筑工程質量驗收標準。但現行的施工質量驗收規范與以往我們使用的規范有很大的不同。這一 點我想大家應該都比較清楚了，在這里我想說的是：
